State convention is a two-day conference hosted each year in downtown Indianapolis. Delegates can attend leadership workshops presented by fellow students, hear national caliber inspirational and motivational speakers, network with students and adults in their district and the state, and receive information and tools that will strengthen them as leaders, as well as their councils. Schools that have a virtual membership will have the ability to still hear from the national caliber speakers and participate in elements of the big group workshops.
Each school can bring an unlimited number of student and adviser delegates. Some of these student delegates may be workshop presenters, helping deliver the leadership curriculum of this event.

CONVENTION ROUND TABLES
ROUND TABLES WILL BE YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS FROM YOUR STUDENT COUNCIL AND BE A PART OF OUR CONVENTION PROGRAM.
Round table leaders will deliver information about a successful project in about 5 minutes. This presentation should be concise. You will want to have some time at the end for questions. You will present this project approximately 6-8 times depending on the allotted time.
The Sign-up Form contains an example of a round table. This is only an example and you are not limited to something like this. Please choose a topic that you can be an expert. Projects should fit into REALMS.
SERVING AS A ROUND TABLE LEADER IS ONE OF THE CRITERIA OF OUR INDIANA DISTINGUISHED STUDENT LEADER AWARD.
SCHOOLS THAT PROVIDE CONVENTION ROUND TABLE LEADERS MEET AN OPTIONAL CRITERIA IN THE HONOR COUNCIL AWARD APPLICATION.
THIS FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED ON OR BEFORE APRIL 17, 2021
