State Convention

State convention is a two-day conference hosted each year by a member school throughout the State of Indiana.  Delegates can attend leadership workshops presented by fellow students, hear national caliber inspirational and motivational speakers, network with students and adults in their district and the state, and receive information and tools that will strengthen them as leaders, as well as their councils.

The rotation of host school locations shall be as follows 1] South (SW & SE District); 2] Central (CW & CE Districts); & 3] North (NW & NE Districts).  For 2019 – South – Gibson Southern High School, Fort Branch – SW District; For 2020 – Central – Blackford High School – Hartford City – CE District; For 2021 – North – Kankakee Valley High School, Wheatfield – NW District; For 2022 – Lawrenceburg High School, Lawrenceburg – SE District.

Each school can bring an unlimited number of student and adviser delegates.  Some of these student delegates may be workshop presenters, helping deliver the leadership curriculum of this event

All students and advisers will stay at local hotels or other venues secured by the IASC.
